Suggested guidelines on packaging is to take 1 to 2 scoops per day. (Some is good, more is better so most athletes may take more than this)
This means your protein shake cost over £2.30
Having an average of 2 scoops per day means you go through a tub of protein every 2 weeks
This means you are spending over £70 a month on protein powder alone
There are times where protein supplements may be beneficial for the athlete however…
I would rather spend that sort of money on some good quality ingredients as part of a balanced diet
